    Job Overview

    We’re seeking a talented, motivated and self-driven Software Engineer to join our team, at Datatech. In this exciting role, you’ll design, develop, and maintain cutting-edge software solutions for a variety of projects across the company.
    As a key member of our development team, you’ll work on diverse projects that directly contribute to the company’s strategic goals and objectives. You’ll engage with stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate them into reliable, scalable, and secure technical solutions.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Software Development

    • Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software solutions.
    • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards.
    • Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and performance optimization for reliability and security of software applications.

    Requirement Collection and Analysis

    • Engage with stakeholders to gather and analyse requirements, translating business needs into technical specifications.
    • Conduct technical assessment to evaluate the suitability of proposed solutions, identifying potential risks and mitigation                 strategies.
    • Provide input during the requirements gathering phase to contribute in the refinement of the project scope, prioritize features and                 establish realistic timelines.

    Installation and Deployment

    • Develop installation and deployment procedures for software applications, ensuring smooth and error-free deployment across various environments.
    • Conduct compatibility testing and validation to verify that software installations meet system requirements.

    Delivery and Customer Support

    • Deliver software updates/releases to customers in a timely manner.
    • Address customer feedback, bug reports, and feature requests promptly, prioritizing issues based on severity and impact on user         experience.
    • Document support interactions in a ticketing system, ensuring that information is readily accessible to support team members and             stakeholders.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages and tools: C#, .NET, Oracle, React, Blazor, SQL, DB2, JavaScript.
    • Understanding of software testing principles.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.

    Job Overview

    We’re seeking a talented, motivated and self-driven Technical Support Engineer to join our team, at Datatech. In this exciting role, you will provide technical support to both internal staff and external clients, optimizing the customer support experience and ensuring the smooth operation of the department in order for the Company to achieve its strategic objectives.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Technical Support for Mobile Solutions
    • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and chat,         addressing their issues promptly, professionally and in a timely               manner.
    • Set up, configure, and update mobile devices and related hardware       to ensure optimal performance.
    • Provide on-site technical support for software installations, repairs,       and upgrades at customer location.
    Document Management Scanners Support
    • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve     technical issues related to enterprise data scanners, ensuring                 minimal downtime for customers.
    • Conduct regular maintenance checks and calibration of scanners to       ensure optimal performance and reliability.
    • Collaborate with customers to provide technical guidance, training,       and support on the operation and maintenance of scanning                   equipment.
    General Customer Support
    • Provide support to customer in relation to mobile printers, label             industrial printers, card printers, barcode scanners and servers.
    • Conduct wi-fi installations in warehouses to address customers’             needs.
    • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a seamless         support experience.
    Internal IT Support
    • Offer technical support to internal staff, addressing hardware and         software related issues.
    • Manage and maintain IT equipment, ensuring all equipment is in             optimal working condition.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Engineering or any         other related field.
    • Basic knowledge of diagnosing and repairing hardware issues in             mobile devices and related peripherals.
    • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure, including servers,                     databases, and cloud services.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Effective teamwork and collaboration skills.
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
    • Experience in a similar role will be considered an advantage.

    The position may require travelling abroad once every two weeks with travelling allowances payable additional to the salary.
